Alex Bartsch, a London-based photographer, was introduced to Bob Marley from at early age by his father and has remained a loyal Marley fan ever since.
For three years of his life, he spent traveling around London searching for the original locations of his reggae icon Bob Marley’s vinyl covers dating from 1967 to 1987.
Bartsch had learned that a good place to start his project was in the area where the label was based. Most of the locations haven’t really changed much, except some that have disappeared and others that have been reconstructed into apartments and supermarkets.
Starting this project in 2014.
Below is Bartsch’s awesome collection of photographs.
The Open Mind claims no ownership of the photographs within, they belong to their owner – Alex Bartsch, of which The Open Mind has been granted permission of use.
