The phrase animal spirit guide is just what the name implies, its spiritual guides that come to us in animal or insect form. They are also known as totem animals, or power animals or insects. While the specific meaning of these terms may vary somewhat, all of them can be referred to as animal spirit guides. Our ancient ancestors believed that these ethereal beings helped them through their spiritual powers in their daily lives by providing protection, guidance, and healing.
The spiritual guide can come to you in many forms; it can be a moth or butterfly that you notice for days in your house or appear at places you go. It can be a vision or dream, or a thought that manifest in your current reality. Here are some Spirit animals, can you relate to any of them?

Just like butterflies go through a metamorphosis from caterpillar to adult, so too do moths. The moth spirit guide is here to guide you through your transformation period to aid you to spread your wings and soar. It is possible you have been hiding from something in your life, and the moth is here to bring it into the light. The moths represent three principal ideals: mystery, darkness/light, and transformation. The moth is a creature of magic and intuition and calls you to trust your intuition. It also reminds us to have a willing heart for our spiritual growth, but realize the heart is a treasure to be taken care off.

It’s essential that you pay close attention to other people’s body language. Guidance from your ancestors can come in many forms, whether through your eyes, ears, feelings, thoughts or dreams. You might even come across a photo or see someone resembling an ancestor. If the owl appears to you, you’re likely to have the ability to see what’s usually hidden to most. When the spirit of this animal guides you, you can see the real reality, beyond illusion and deceit.

To reap the sweetness of everything that life has to offer, focus on compassion and forgiveness. Having the bee appear might be a sign that you need to forgive someone or even yourself. Its also a sign that you need to examine your productivity, and a reminder to make your live productive while the sun shines so you can enjoy the nectar of your efforts. It’s a sign that all your hard work will pay off. Bees are symbolic of fertility and sexuality, their by-products being the sweet honey of life. A bee should inspire you to take a step back and examine your daily habits and question your way of life. The bee is a symbol of perseverance and accomplishing the impossible. It’s a powerful reminder that we reap what we sow.
