How A Rescued Snow Fox From A Fur Farm Reacted To Snow For The First Time

Spread the word

A polar fox Maciek was rescued from a fur farm by activists from Otwarte Klatki (Open Cages Poland) in 2019. Ever since then, Maciek has lived in a home sanctuary where he’s adored and cared for.

Although he lost his paw to a severe injury and neglect, the doctors fought to save his paw, and in the end, it had to be amputated.

Having only three paws hasn’t stopped him from having fun, and he has been enjoying his life outside of the fur farm and just being his sassy little self.

Now, for the first time, this adorable Snow Fox experienced snow. Klara, his dog friend, showed him how to enjoy fun in the snow. Although he wasn’t convinced at first, he finally caved and gave in.

His reaction was so cute and heartwarming. Apparently, he loves the snow now.

Maciek and Klara were both puppies when they first met, and they treat each other as siblings.

Fortunately for Maciek, he gets to live a good life and is now an ambassador for all the foxes still slain and used for fur, and his owner won’t halt until they all get justice.

The Snow Fox, well adapted to living in cold environments, is also known as the White Fox or Polar Fox. They are a small fox native to the Arctic regions of the Northern Hemisphere. They are known for their thick warm fur that they use as camouflage.

Apparently, foxes are not dangerous to humans, besides when they are rabid or when they are handled and captured. A fox’s natural inclination is to flee rather than fight.

Foxes also need fun and to run around, well in fact all animals do.
