If you haven’t seen a real-life Pikachu cat, you will in this article. Please be warned that we don’t recommend you doing this to your pets without consulting a specialist.

A Facebook user, Thammapa Supamas from Thailand, turned her cat into a real-life Pikachu cat when she treated her for fungal infection with turmeric.

Supamas was concerned about her poor cat’s fungal infection as nothing seemed to work, so she requested advice from her mother. Her mother suggested applying turmeric.

Turmeric is a herbal spice, and in India, it is commonly used in foods and for medicinal purposes for treat infections. So her owner applied a turmeric scrub suggested by her mother to help cure the cat’s fungal infection.

According to Supamas, her cat Ka-Pwong had ringworm, and she did everything to cure it, but nothing worked. That is when her mother had the idea of using turmeric. At first, she painted it on the ringworm but as there was a lot left, she decided to paint the whole body to prevent future mycoses.”

Mycoses found in humans and domestic animals is a disease caused by any fungus that invades the tissues, causing superficial, systemic, or subcutaneous disease.

The turmeric scrub seemed to have worked, yet it changed the color of her cat’s fur.

Ka-Pwong’s distinct white fur, it instantly turned it yellow, and it wouldn’t wash off. As she was covered entirely in turmeric to prevent the infection from spreading, she now became a yellow cat Pikachu from the animated series Pokemon.

Apparently, Ka-Pwong is more cheerful and eats more since she is yellow.

To anyone that may be concerned, the owner reassured people that the Indian spice helped reduce itching and licking the wounded area. She hopes that the fungus is cured and that Ka-Pwong will return to her normal color. Time will tell, as the treatment shouldn’t be repeated without consulting a professional.

Supamas photoshopped a few photos of Ka-Pwong as she thought that she looked like Pikachu.

Pikachu is a species of Pokémon, a fictional creature that appears in an variety of movies, comic books, video games, animated television shows, and trading card games.
